BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Up to £35K + BONUS - Central London. Our client is a dynamic publishing and design agency that has built up a great reputation producing print and online customer magazines for organisations as diverse as Faith Stores, Subaru Motors and Bank of Scotland. Known as a boutique agency in their field, they’re particularly strong in creative executions and strategic thinking. In order to fulfil their potential as a business, they’re looking to recruit a business development manager to join the team. The successful individual will be responsible for building relationships with core prospects, arranging, qualifying and attending new business meetings, and assisting with marketing. You’ll have experience within the digital sphere, as well as experience in sales or marketing; you’ll also be a strong communicator, resourceful and highly motivated. The role will commence with 3-months’ intensive training via Blossom, enabling you to fine-tune your skills and also to equip you with the tools and systems you need to be effective in the role. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & ACCOUNT MANAGER - £35K + BONUS - Clerkenwell. This client specialises in design and branding for the financial services industry, and enjoys long-term relationships with some of the most respected financial institutions in the world. Until now their business has grown primarily through positive word of mouth and referrals – but they’re now keen to take a proactive approach and recruit a Business Development Manager to build relationships within their core sectors – and also help them to break into other relevant market segments. They are looking for a confident individual with proven sales and/or marketing experience to uncover new business opportunities and build relationships within the financial, professional & corporate sectors. You will also be part of the team responsible for managing any accounts you bring in, so experience in this respect is desirable. As well as great verbal communications skills, they’re also looking for someone who is highly articulate in writing and can assist with proposals and the production of marketing materials. Enthusiasm, intelligence and great attention to detail are a must! The successful candidate will be someone who’s got long-term potential to direct business development within the agency – so this is a great opportunity. Blossom will be providing an initial training programme to ensure that everything is on track.

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR £35-£45K + Bonuses - London EC1. Blossom is also recruiting for the position of Account Director at our sister company, Rainmaker. A highly respected business development consultancy, Rainmaker advises on and implements programmes that help advertising, PR, design and marketing agencies in the UK and USA win new clients. Due to ongoing growth and development of current team members, they are looking for an Account Director to join the team. You will be proven in client-facing situations, able to lead, advise and be proactive with senior contacts. You’ll be trained to lead in-depth planning sessions with clients, offering consultancy on marketing messages, branding, targeting and communications. You’ll advise clients on best-practice business marketing and the driving of relationships with their key audiences to ensure they receive outstanding return on investment. A high-achiever, you are driven, intelligent and a fast learner, with great attention to detail. You’ll have proven experience in sales or marketing, new business or account management, ideally within a marketing or communications agency and you will be able to demonstrate your personal contribution to the success of the companies you have worked for. You're looking for a role with plenty of responsibility and autonomy, as well as fantastic opportunities for progression, within a fast-growing and energetic team.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – £21K - £23K - London EC1. Due to recent growth, a graduate position has become available at Blossom's sister company Rainmaker. You should be bright, energetic, and a highly effective communicator. Experience in sales and marketing is beneficial but not essential, as is a second language. The role encompasses day-to-day proactive and reactive prospecting, both on the phone and in writing, on behalf of up to 4 clients. You will have responsibility for maintaining your client database, and will be involved in preparation for client meetings, as well as liaising with the client alongside the account director. You will also be required to monitor marketing and trade publications for relevant leads on behalf of each of your clients.
The successful candidate should be motivated and self-starting with a positive outlook, mature attitude and solid work ethic. Lateral thinking is also a fundamental attribute.
